Consulting
CMPartners provides support and advice on a variety of negotiation, transaction and relationship management issues. Systematic improvement of negotiated results may require internal changes in the formal systems and structures and informal practices that both support and constrain individual negotiators or relationship managers. We identify these organizational factors, recommend changes that will yield better-negotiated results, and work with client teams to implement these changes. We assist in improving the process by which different internal organizations or teams, including labor and management, constructively collaborate and manage their differences toward a common goal.
Training and Coaching
CMPartners coaches individuals and designs and conducts training workshops aimed at enhancing skills in negotiation, conflict management and relationship management. We bring to this coaching and these workshops the strategic approaches, analytic tools and techniques that we use in their consulting work. Our primary goal is to help our clients improve the results they achieve through negotiation and relationship management. While we believe that workshops are an important vehicle for the development of negotiation and conflict management skills, we also recognize that bringing about enduring behavioral change requires more. Thus, we see training as a necessary beginning to a long-term effort to bring about value-creating change. We recommend a variety of post-workshop re-enforcement activities.
