John Richardson’s negotiation consulting practice includes corporate clients like Deloitte and Touche, CSC Consulting, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston, Ropes & Gray, Monsanto, Sankyo Pharma, BankAmerica, Compaq, AT&T and Ameritech. In 1995, John helped found a regional consulting and training practice in the Australasia region, working with clients like BHP and Ericsson. In the public sector, John has worked with the Virginia Military Institute, The Citadel, the Department of Justice National Advocacy Center and the Archdiocese of Medellin, Columbia.

John is currently teaching International Business Negotiation at Harvard Extension School. In the past he has taught at Harvard Law School, the Sloan School of Business at MIT, and the Carroll School of Business at Boston College. A former Associate of the Harvard Negotiation Project, John was co-author, with Howard Raiffa, of Negotiation Analysis.

John has a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and an MA in Organizational Studies from Boston College.
