Jubran Said is a Consultant with CMPartners. Mr. Said is a well-recognized leader, consultant and trainer of negotiation and communication. Mr. Said is a consultant and senior lecturer and for the Negotiation Strategies Institute, an organization under the academic sponsorship of the Harvard Negotiation Project. Mr. Said advises clients on approaches to building rapport and long lasting relationships across multiple cultures and on how to identify, and focus on multiple stakeholders’ interests to position parties for conflict resolution and mutually beneficial agreements. As a trainer, Jubran delivers capacity building training on negotiation, communication, and leadership to a diverse set of clients including governmental ministries, diplomatic missions, banks, international non-governmen organizations, and the private sector.

For two and half decades Mr. Said worked as a program management expert supporting the implementation of complex programs such as humanitarian aid, infrastructure rehabilitation, and community-based interventions with particular focus on programs funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Projects included the installation of municipal water networks and storage tanks, hospital renovations, construction of clinics and schools, youth clubs and centers, small parks, and rural roads. He implemented programs in challenging environments with timeliness and creativity with the last program valued at $100 million dollars.

Mr. Said draws on his extensive experience to create options and resolve complex issues and can synthesize viable options from technical and programmatic challenges faced by donors, government officials, business, and community leaders. An active member of his community, he advises and coaches many community leaders on their on-going challenges.

Jubran obtained his B.Sc. in 1995 and his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1996 from Washington State University.
